Beth got the results back from the PET scan today. I have no idea what that test is. All I know is that it came back with good results. I think the test was to see if her cancer had spread to any other part of her body. There is some suspicion about other breast - the test showed something there, but they couldn't determine what it is. Doesn't matter -both those babies are coming off.
Next appointment: Plastic Surgeon on Thursday to discuss reconstruction. Good times.

I'm so happy to hear about the good test results. Just think, now at the Revlon run, you can hang out in the Survivor tent, eat yummy treats, and maybe even meet Tom Seleck! Reading your blog makes me realize even more what an amazing person you are. I love you, Beth!

Thanks for sending the e-mail about the blogs! (Now I'll have to catch up on the other one, too. I've been meaning to send out an e-mail that I have one, too, but... another delayed thing in my life!!!) I'm glad to hear that the results of this test are good! Sorry about all of this, but it sounds like you guys are doing okay. We miss you and miss you even more that you're not in CA!!! Not that we're there either, but... Make sure you let us know if you're ever in CO!!!
I didn't think it was possible to combine humor and cancer quite so well. I'm SO glad to see that the latest tests are promising. It's hard living test to test and procedure to procedure, but you seem even more amazing than I thought you were before. We'll be thinking of you (and Alan and your super cute brood) often.
Ada girl, get that taken care of then its on to Benihana's. I know an Indian dude who can get us in. He has a wife who doesn't eat but loves to come and watch.
