Beth had a great day today. Her breathing was much better. Her appetite was great. She wasn’t in as much pain as she normally is. She has not smiled more than she has smiled today. She hasn’t laughed this much since she watched Steph Curry get kicked out of Game 6 of the NBA Finals for throwing his mouthpiece at a fan. She hasn’t stayed awake for this long during the day for months. What was the difference? Seven of Beth’s close friends flew in from California to spend the weekend with her. Erin, Tori, Gabby, Lizzy, Sydney, Denise and Christi all came to give beth some much needed friendship, love and laughter. We are so thankful these lifelong friends who were able to come out and give Beth some of the best medicine around.
Aside from a 24 hour old In-N-Out Burger that Tori brought me, they also brought lots of stories and PICTURES.
